As we age patients may develop laxity and/or an imbalance between the various muscles of the lower eyelid either pulling the lid away from the eyeball (ectropion) or towards it (entropion). In both of these circumstances the natural tears often do not succeed in lubricating the eye resulting in excess tearing, dry eye or even damage to the cornea. Dr. Wolpoe has years of experience addressing these issues and restoring normal lid appearance and function.
